The Association for Library and Information Science Education can depend on ASG for top-notch customer service in the day-to-day association operations. We make a conscious effort to create a more personal experience for your members. All phone calls are answered by ASG staff without using recorded prompts, and voicemail is only activated when all lines are busy or after business hours. ASG’s customer service mandate is our team returns all phone calls and emails in 24 hours or less.
Association Services Group will also provide ALISE the latest in association office and communication technology – without the associations having to purchase the software or equipment. Primary software used includes Microsoft Office suite, Quick Books Enterprise for Financials, plus other graphic and efficiency software programs. Currently, ASG is utilizing the latest in communications technology to help manage and market client events including mobile phone apps for member communities and conference programs, as well as various webinar and video streaming elements.
Board and Committee SupportASG has an excellent long-term track record with its clients providing managerial support services to Boards and association committees. The ALISE Board will have ASG staff available to organize, coordinate, attend/take minutes and participate in all board and executive committees. Standing and Ad Hoc Committees will receive service and support from your ASG staff as directed by the President and Board. Additionally, ASG staff is experienced in providing support to boards for Bylaws, elections and strategic planning.
Financial ServicesASG financial management services provide you with the ability to monitor your organization’s progress and sustainability. We assist you in making sound decisions, tracking expenses and solidifying budgets. We consider communication and transparency an essential part of our commitment to you, so you will be fully aware of all financial management details, with the confidence of knowing it is all being effectively managed.
Marketing and CommunicationsWhen working with ASG as your management partner, the ALISE can expect an extensive communication experience, including brochures, one-page position papers, magazines, journals, electronic newsletters, websites, and other member and media communications. Additionally, ASG has extensive expertise in the area of using social media for member communications and networking.
Conference Planning & Management
ASG staff has extensive experience in managing meetings and conferences. Currently, we manage approximately 50 client meetings, ranging from Board retreats to multi-day trade shows and conferences. The firm abides by several operating programs to minimize the time required to plan conferences and membership networking functions. Using standard, but separate, budget formats, registration systems, accounting procedures, and meeting operations checklists the ASG team is able to professionally coordinate an eventof any size. Guided by Board policy and the meeting’s purpose, it is ASG’s objective to ensure all events are profitable and the ROR (return on revenue) to the association is at least 10% to 30% after management staff costs are expended. ASG is confident we can grow ALISE’s ROR as your meeting planner partner!
